The Body on Hamilton Reach is Book 6 in the Dr Hamish Hart Mysteries.
It’s 1889 Brisbane and Dr Hamish Hart and Dr Rita Cartwright attend the inaugural exhibition of the Queensland Arts Society where they encounter the enigmatic Countess Isabella de la Vega. But the evening takes a dark turn when one of the exhibits is stolen and the artist is found dead on the mudflats of Hamilton Reach. Can the duo unravel the murder before the lives of everyone involved begin to unravel?
About the author:
Dr Karen Thurecht has a PhD in medical anthropology and a lifelong interest in cultural belief systems relating to health and medicine. Karen has taught cultural history at the University of Queensland Medical School and Griffith University and supervised Masters and PhD students in Public Health across the country.
Karen lives by the river in Hamilton, Brisbane, with her husband and writes the popular murder mystery series set in Queensland in the 1880’s: The Dr Hamish Hart Mysteries.
