Join a koala spotting walk with Ranger Stacey and the Detection Dogs to unlock the secrets of finding koalas on Redlands Coast.

Have you ever been lucky enough to spot a koala in the wild? These fluffy favourites are experts at hide-and-seek, but we’ll show you how to find them.

Join Ranger Stacey and the Detection Dogs for Conservation team for a guided koala-spotting walk, where you’ll learn insider tips and tricks to help you locate these elusive marsupials in your own neighbourhood.
  • Guided walks will depart from the Point Halloran Conservation Area carpark
  • Walk times: 9am, 10am and 11am
Redland City Council koala conservation officers will also be on-site to answer your questions and share simple ways we can all help protect local koalas.

What to bring:
  • Enclosed walking shoes
  • Sun-safe clothing and a hat
  • Sunscreen
  • Insect repellent
  • Water bottle
Parking: Please allow extra time to find a parking spot in nearby streets.

Notes: All ages are welcome. Walks run for approximately 55 minutes, and younger children may need support from a parent or guardian.

Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

Book your preferred guided walk time today. Places are limited, register on Eventbrite.
