At BRBN.org.au, we are dedicated to supporting causes that have a lasting impact on the community. As a not-for-profit referral group, we are proud to announce our recent donation of $500 to the Lions Medical Research Foundation, an organization that funds cutting-edge research into critical health issues.
The Lions Medical Research Foundation currently supports two prominent researchers working in vital fields of medical science:
Dr. Olivia Holland, who focuses on gestational diabetes and its long-term effects on both the baby and the mother. Her research aims to understand how gestational diabetes impacts health later in life, potentially leading to better treatments and preventative measures.
Dr. Dominic Guanzon, who is dedicated to developing a diagnostic test to predict the recurrence of ovarian cancer and its resistance to chemotherapy. His work could revolutionize how ovarian cancer is monitored and treated, helping to save lives through early intervention.
Both researchers, along with their teams, are highly regarded in their fields and work tirelessly toward groundbreaking discoveries. Our donation will help them continue their important work, which has the potential to benefit countless individuals affected by these conditions.
We recently received a warm thank-you from the Lions Medical Research Foundation, acknowledging our donation. In their message, they highlighted the incredible progress being made by Dr. Holland and Dr. Guanzon in their respective fields. We are honored to contribute to this cause and support research that may lead to life-saving treatments and advancements in healthcare.
At BRBN.org.au, giving back is at the heart of what we do. Supporting medical research is one of the ways we strive to make a difference in the lives of those in our community and beyond. We are proud to stand behind the Lions Medical Research Foundation and the incredible work they do.
