The members of the Business Referral Business Network (BRBN) recently had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from The Harvesters Storehouse to one of our Wednesday meetings.
During their visit, we learned more about the incredible work this local not-for-profit charity is doing to support members of the Redlands community who are doing it tough. Inspired by their mission and the impact they are making, BRBN members were proud to present a donation of $500 to help support their ongoing work.
The Harvesters Storehouse was established just two years ago with the support of a grant from the Redlands City Council. The organisation was created after recognising a clear gap in the support services available for people in the community facing hardship. Their goal is simple but powerful — to bring together practical help, compassionate support, and essential services for those who need it most.
One of their key initiatives is the Bayside Community Hubs (formerly known as the Redlands Community Hubs). These monthly events provide a central location where people in need can access a wide range of services all under one roof.
Each hub typically brings together up to 20 support and care services, with around 60 community members attending each month. The hubs provide an opportunity for people to connect with essential services, receive emergency food relief, and enjoy a free meal in a welcoming and supportive environment.
By bringing multiple support organisations together in one place, the Bayside Community Hubs make it easier for those experiencing hardship to access the help they need without the stress of navigating multiple systems or locations.
BRBN is proud to support organisations like The Harvesters Storehouse that are making a real difference in our local community. Their work reflects the spirit of collaboration and care that makes the Redlands such a special place.
Supporting local charities and community organisations is an important part of what BRBN stands for. Through fundraising, donations, and raising awareness for local causes, BRBN aims to support charities and not-for-profit organisations that provide vital services to those in need. By working together as a network of local businesses, we
